Mastering rhythmic nuances to create a soulful, dynamic sound, award-winning performance and session musician Ryan Schiedermayer performs with a raw passion and sensitivity that makes him adaptable to a multitude of musical styles.
Ryan's dedication to his craft has made him a highly sought after performer, educator and session artist. As member and co-leader of theMilwaukee Bucks NBA house band, Streetlife, he appears in front of millions of people each season, both live and on television entertaining fans at Milwaukee’s Bradley Center Arena.
Ryan is also the drummer for Sam Llanas (formerly of the Bodeans) and performed on Sam’s album entitled 4 A.M. (The Way Home) which has received great national acclaim.
Some of Ryan’s career highlights include performing with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Richie Furay, Danny Gokey, and with such Grammy nominee artists as Jeff Lorber, Jim Peterik, and Ignacio Berroa. He has toured with nationally renowned Paul Cebar and the Milwaukeeans and travelled worldwide performing USO/DOD tours for the United States Armed Forces.
Ryan divides his time between live performance, session work for the world’s largest music print publisher Hal Leonard, and education at Interstate Music Company where he teaches private instruction and directs the collaborative group music program Band Together.
